After this date, development will be ceased for this branch in favor of CoreELEC 21 (Omega)

End of Software Development (EOSD) describes the stage of a product’s lifecycle in which the development team ceases to work on the product. This usually happens when the product has reached a mature state.

Software development for Nexus is dropped in favor of Omega.

Team CoreELEC recommends upgrading to CoreELEC 21.
