CoreELEC for Homatics
These instructions explain how to install and boot CoreELEC on supported Homatics devices from USB media by use of a Windows PC. The instructions can easily be adapted for other Operating Systems.

- Nokia 8010
Requirements
- Personal Computer with Internet Access
- Image Writing Software
- PC with Microsoft Windows
- USB Flash Drive (for boot media)

Preparation
- Visit the CoreELEC website
- Select a version to download
- The Download Helper will pop up
- Select Skip that and just show me all download options
- Download the generic image (CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.arm-xxx-Generic.img.gz)
- Write the downloaded image to a USB Flash Drive

- Copy the device tree from the device tree folder on the USB Flash Drive to the root of the USB Flash Drive
- Rename the device tree dtb to dtb.img
- Insert the USB Flash Drive into the devices USB slot
- Boot the device using the reset button method
If the reset button method doesn't work:
- Try the Android APK Reboot to CoreELEC
Install CoreELEC to eMMC
This option is not supported to keep Android Verified Boot available for Android. AVB will be need like for Netflix L1 hardware decoder support.
