Disk Image Writing Software
To create CoreELEC bootable installation media, a software tool is required to format, and write the media to (μ)SD Card or USB Flash Drive.
A 512MB bootable partition will be created for the CoreELEC Operating System. The remaining space is at first boot formatted as storage.
